Arromanches: Normandy Landing Beach and Seaside Town

Flags representing the countries who participated in the D-Day Landing

Quite a lot of  the debris left behind from the Landing is still on the beach as well as what is left of the artifical harbor, Mulberry Port.

Low tide lets people get up close to the skeletons of D-Day machinery.

There is a war museum, along with lots of souvenir shops (war and beach-tourist-related), alonng with a merry-go-round (these are all over France).

Love this Banksy-esque street art, which looks like two little girls writing on the wall: "Please No More War...Love"
